Reporting needs assessment results to whānau.
Thank you to all our staff, students and whānau who recently completed our needs assessment survey as part of the Health Promoting Schools process. All the survey results have been collated into a report and will be presented to the Board of Trustees and staff.
The results show that Malfroy School is undertaking loads of positive initiatives in regards to student health. The priority areas for improvement, as identified by the survey, are Nutrition, bullying and communicable diseases and body care. A copy of the report will be available in the school office for you to view and we welcome any feedback. Using some of the solutions suggested in the needs assessment and further feedback from our school community, our health team will start developing an action plan to address these priority areas.
